Job Summary:
The SEO Intern will assist the SEO team in optimizing the company’s website to improve its search engine rankings. This position requires a basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices. The intern will gain hands-on experience in on-page optimization, keyword research, content optimization, link building, and other SEO tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and phrases • Optimize website content for target keywords and phrases • Perform on-page optimization, including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and content optimization • Perform technical SEO audits and identify issues that affect website performance • Collaborate with content creators to develop new content and optimize existing content for SEO • Assist in the development of link building strategies and execute outreach efforts • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and other SEO tools • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices • Assist with other SEO-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
